Frizz out, movement in.
A keratin smoothing treatment coats and seals the hair so it dries smooth, holds less frizz and takes far less effort to style. It smooths rather than flattens, so the hair keeps its natural movement.

The appointment, start to finish.
- Consultation
We look at how much frizz and curl you have and what you want the hair to do. Length and thickness set the price, and we confirm it before we begin.
- Wash and section
A clarifying wash opens the hair up so the keratin can get in. Then the hair is sectioned and Novak is applied section by section.
- Seal
The formula is dried in and then sealed with an iron, one section at a time. This is the part that takes the time and makes the result last.
- Done in about two and a half hours
Short hair is booked for two and a half hours, extra long or thick for two and three-quarter. Add a haircut on the day for $75.
- Aftercare
Novak stays in the hair for a day or three before the first wash, depending on your hair, and we will tell you exactly how long. After that, a sulphate-free shampoo keeps the result for months.

Is keratin right for your hair?

What changes the price
- Length, $215 short up to $295 extra long or thick
- Thickness, which can move you up a bracket
- A face frame only, front sections, is from $155
- Adding a haircut on the day is $75
Which appointment do I book? Book by length. Ear length is short, then between ear and shoulder, shoulder length, to the bra strap, and extra long or thick. If you only want the hairline and face-framing pieces smoothed, book the Keratin face frame instead. Having colour done as well? Book both and we will plan the order for you.
